AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Ivy League
College Acceptances: Three
students have just
been informed of their acceptances into Cornell, Harvard and Princeton.

National
Achievement Scholarship Winner: A student has been
selected as the winner of a
National Achievement $2500 Scholarship.
Governor’s
School: Two WOHS
students have
been accepted into the very competitive New Jersey Governor’s School
Programs for summer study, one to the Governor’s School of the
Environment and one to the Governor’s School for Science.
Essex
Essay Winner: A 10th
grade student with
disabilities has won second place, and a cash award of $150, in the High
School
division of the essay contest sponsored by the Essex County Bar
Association
Committee on Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Regional
Jazz Competition Winner – A 7th grade
student at Roosevelt Middle School took first place in a regional jazz
piano
competition held by the Mid-Atlantic Music Teachers Guild.
Llewellyn Park children attend many private schools as well as the public school system. We respect our residents' choices for their children. Most schools offer transportation to and from Llewellyn Park.
